Harlan Kenneth Adamson, 81, Palmyra, died peacefully Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born June 14, 1938, in Madison, he was the son of the late Kermie Harland Adamson and Grace Elizabeth Day Adamson.

On Feb 1, 1963, he married Ruth Grey.

He graduated in 1956 from Morgan Township High School and served in the National Guard. He was co-owner and operator of Adamson Nursery Inc. in Palmyra, was a former bank director of First Harrison Bank in Palmyra, was a member and deacon of the Indian Creek Baptist Church in Georgetown, was a member of the Gideon International and Habitat for Humanity. He enjoyed golfing and fishing and loved to attend church activities, helping people out and spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Grey Adamson; three daughters, Carolyn Stull (Bruce), Darlene Holz (Bill) and Denese Troncin (Bruce); two brothers, Donald Lee Adamson (Louise) and Nelson Glenn Adamson (Betty); and two grandchildren, Grace Leona Troncin and Sydney Elaine Troncin.

Visitation: Monday, Nov. 11, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 12, after 10 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.

Funeral: Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with entombment in the Palmyra Cemetery.
