Shirley K. Cunningham

Shirley K. Cunningham, 83, Laconia, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at Harrison Springs Health Campus near Corydon.

She was born June 9, 1936, in Harrison County, to the late Walter F. and Georgia M. Deutsch Rupp.

She was a farmer and a member of Smith Camp Ground United Methodist Church near Dogwood and Indiana Farm Bureau.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Cunningham.

Survivors include a sister, Millie F. Hansen of Sapulpa, Okla.; her nieces and nephews, Karen Kennedy, Sally Smither (Vic), Bryan Kennedy, Bill Kennedy (Tina), Susan Wakefield, James Wakefield, Kristin Kennedy, Marcella Cecil and Adam Kennedy; and her good friend, Jack Frederick.

Visitation: Friday, Nov. 8, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 9, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in New Middletown United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Officiant: Brother Toney McCutcheon.

Pallbearers: Brad and Jody Walston, Logan Bryant, Adam Kennedy, Daniel Frederick and Brett Walston.

The family suggests memorial gifts to Smith Camp Ground United Methodist Church.
