Winners named in costume contest, parade


The names of winners for the annual Halloween costume contest and parade, which took place Sunday instead of Saturday due to forecasted inclement weather, were announced. They are:
Halloween costume contest
- 0 to 12 months — Owen Urbano (mouse trap), first; Conrad Walter (lion), second; Weston Stonecipher (Chuckie), third.
- 1 to 2 year olds — Cailyn and Jase Carrillo (Tortoise and the Hare), first; Raley and Braxton Nessmith (Cinderella and Prince Charming), second; Thomas and Charlie Allen (Wayne and Garth from “Wayne’s World”), third.
- 3 to 4 year olds — Tyler Oskins (hot dog), first; Bexleigh Riddle (Belle), second; Kenan Fowler (wild thing), third.
- Kindergarten and Grade 1 — Nolin and Nora Oelze (old couple), first; Sydney Hess (Maleficent), second; Sawyer Apple (Penny Wise), third.
- Grades 2 and 3 — Logan Hess (scuba driver), first; Corbin Painter (Reaper), second; Ara Delaney (Hermione Granger), third.
- Grades 4 and 5 — Ivy Wiseman (Hermione Granger), first; Donavan Boucher (Captain America), second.
