Paul W. Windell
Paul W. Windell, 78, Corydon, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, at Salem Crossing in Salem.
Born Sept. 2, 1941, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Claude Elmo and Honor Forest Frederick Windell.
He was retired from the U.S. Naval Ordnance in Louisville, was a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon and was an Air Force veteran.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Dee Anna Chumley.
Survivors include two daughters, Gail L. Terry (H.R.) of Henryville and Sara J. Faith (Jefferey) of Corydon; a brother, Jack Windell (Evelyn) of Corydon; and four grandchildren, Lukas, Kelcie, Haley and Gracie.
Visitation: Monday, Oct. 28, from noon to 5:30 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, Oct. 28, at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Matthew Woods.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association.
