Information for the court news is gathered from public records at the Harrison County Justice Center and Court House. The charges listed here do not always include persons who have not yet been notified of the alleged offense. All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty or pleading guilty in court.

Felonies

Operating a vehicle after being a habitual traffic offender — Dennis William Lackey, 44, Evansville.

Resisting law enforcement – defendant uses a vehicle to commit the offense, auto theft — Rylan Anthony Eugene Webb, 21, Salem.

Theft where value of property is between $750 and $50,000 (two counts), cheating at gaming where the defendant tries to collect on a game with intent to cheat (two counts) — Brian Overbey, 44, New Albany.

Misdemeanors

Cruelty to an animal – first offense — Phillip Gage Arnold, 23, 1300 block of S.R. 64 NE, New Salisbury.

Driving while suspended – knowing violation and prior conviction within 10 years — Jonathan R. Lanning, 25, 7700 block of East Dry Branch Road, Milltown; Shawn D. Wallace, 34, 8900 block of Cedar Street NE, New Salisbury.

Disorderly conduct —  Christopher J. Brown, 31, 3200 block of Shaffer Lane SE, Elizabeth.

Possession of marijuana — Logan M. Been, 20, Clarksville.

Public nudity — Dennis William Lackey, 44, Evansville.

Reckless driving – drive at unreasonable high or low speed so to endanger safety — Rylan Anthony Eugene Webb, 21, Salem.

Theft — Amanda Montgomery, 38, 1400 block of East Temple Road, English.

Dispositions

Sage O’Brian Keith, 20, Brandenburg, possession of methamphetamine – this is the basic offense and for any amount below five grams, 545-day sentence with credit for 10 days, 535 days suspended, 545 days probation.

Jerry L. Randolph, 58, Louisville, carrying a gun without a license, 365-day sentence with credit for 32 days, 333 days suspended, one year probation.

Cindy Grumbley, 32, New Albany, possession of methamphetamine, 545-day sentence with credit for one day, 543 days suspended, 1-1/2 years probation.

Gregory Michael Gore, 34, Louisville, possession of a narcotic drug, 365-day sentence with credit for 126 days.

Kenneth Doner, 23, Salem, possession of methamphetamine, 545-day sentence with credit for 78 days, 389 days suspended, one year probation.

Matthew Allan Carlisle, 23, 800 block of Lake Road SW, Corydon, possession of methamphetamine – this is the basic offense and for any amount below five grams, 545-day sentence with credit for 77 days, 391 days suspended, 391 days probation.

Michelle L. Ballard, 47, 200 block of McGrain Street, Corydon, unlawful possession of a syringe, 545-day sentence with credit for 77 days, 391 days suspended, one year probation.

Vicky Denise Carpenter, 38, Lakeland, Fla., possession of paraphernalia, 60-day sentence with credit for 20 days, one year probation.

Diversions

The following cases have been referred to the prosecutor’s pre-trial diversion program. If the terms of the program are met, the charges will be dismissed after a year:

Roger D. Davis, 39, 200 block of South Mulberry Street, Corydon, theft.

Joshua W. Monroe, 37, 6200 block of Union Chapel Road SE, Corydon, possession of marijuana.

Zackary Yeary, 21, West Liberty, Ky., theft.

Tobey Lynn Hutnick, 48, 8800 block of Oak Park Road NE, New Salisbury, theft.
