Douglas G. Ayers Sr.
Douglas Glynn Ayers Sr., 64, Corydon, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at his home.
Born Oct. 15, 1954, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Edward Archer Ayers Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Taylor Ayers.
He was retired from Essroc in Sellersburg.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Ayers; two brothers, Mitchell Ayers and Edward Ayers Jr.; and a sister, Lillie Beauchamp.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Glynn Ayers Jr. (Brandy) of Corydon and Adrian DeShawn Ayers of Jeffersonville; two brothers, Charles Ayers (Darlene) and Donnie Ayers (Stephanie); a sister, Barbara Thompson (Roger); a sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Ayers of Jeffersonville; five grandchildren, Leandra Marie Ayers, Antonio Noah Numair Ayers, Hadrian Valentino Ayers, Jayda Brynn Ayers and Kiyah Rainn Ayers; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Thursday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 4, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: Brother Gary Valentine.
Pallbearers: Josh, Noah and Matt Ayers, Christopher Thompson, Ronnie Lofton, Kerry Timberlake, Mark Sullivan, Michael Ray Beauchamp, Marvin Beauchamp and Charles Beauchamp.
