Chamber launches insurance program
The Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County recently announced that, in partnership with One Southern Indiana and SIHO, it is launching Insurance Under One.
“We are pleased to partner with our friends at the Harrison County Chamber to share this regional opportunity for employer-supported health insurance,” Wendy Dant Chesser, president and CEO of One Southern Indiana, said. “At a time when the competition for talent is fierce, increasing the benefits for employees is both a recruitment and retention tool.”
Insurance Under One is an exclusive health, dental, vision, life, long-term disability, short-term disability and pet insurance available to members of the Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County and One Southern Indiana. The endorsed health plan offers the opportunity for small businesses with two to 50 employees to receive access to affordable, competitive fully insured health plans offering several large employer plan features. Plans also are available for employers with 51 and more employees.
Insurance Under One is based on needs, not size.
In a challenging business environment, the Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County and One Southern Indiana are always looking for tools to make Chamber member businesses successful. Comprehensive insurance options are just some of the tools that help businesses attract and retain the workforce need to succeed.
“Affordable health insurance for even our smallest employers helps not only make those businesses more competitive in the Global employment market, but also increases the number of families with access to quality and affordable health care,” Lisa Long, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County, said.
Pam Bennett Martin, Chamber of Commerce board chair, said, “This is an example of partnership at its best. One more excellent benefit for our membership.”
Chamber members and businesses wanting additional information should contact Long at 812-738-0120 or by email at [email protected].
