Leroy Borgelt, 71, Elizabeth, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, at his home.
Born Dec. 18, 1947, in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ben and Marcile Baldauf Borgelt.
He was retired from the Ford Motor Co. Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, was a member of the U.A.W. and the Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Dept. and was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, the former Barbara J. Faith; a son, Joshua Borgelt of Jeffersonville; two daughters, Amy Allen (Lewie) of Scottsburg and Andrea Lawson (Joey) of Elizabeth; his mother-in-law, Shirley Faith of Laconia; two brothers, George Borgelt (Laura) and Ben Borgelt, both of Elizabeth; five sisters, Lynette Borgelt and Debbie Doyle, both of Elizabeth, Diana Faith (Roger) and Julie Miller (Steve), both of Laconia, and Jeanne Craig (Ron) of New Salisbury; and four grandchildren, Logan Allen, Madison and Lane Laplant, and Jakob Borgelt.
Visitation: Friday, Sept. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Union Chapel Cemetery Fund.
