James E. Vaughn

James E. (Jim) Vaughn, 74, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

Born June 4, 1945, he graduated from South Central Junior-Senior High School, served in the Navy, worked for Public Service Indiana, retired from Duke Energy in Gibson County and had been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; two daughters, Dana Groves and Ellen McGowen (Danny); five siblings, Janice Bays, Jean Vaughn (Tom), Jo Ann Jeffries, June King (Michael) and Jeffrey Vaughn (Patty); six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life service: Sunday, Sept. 15, from 2 to 5 p.m. at 3037 Wolf Lake Blvd. in New Albany followed by light refreshments.

Memorial service: Sunday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m. at the same location.

Celebrant: Fr. Kyle Rodden of St. Joseph Church in Corydon.
