David W. Schwartz

David Wayne Schwartz, 27, Corydon, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, at the Norton Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.

Born Aug. 18, 1992, in Louisville, he was a graduate of Corydon Central High School and Ivy Tech Community College and employed at Amazon in Jeffersonville.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Wayne Alcorn; a grandfather, Nolan Schwartz; a great-grandmother, Jane Omerso; and an uncle, Charles Craft Jr.

Survivors include his parents, Charles William (Billy) and Carolyn Craft Schwartz of Corydon and Alice Faye and Donald Hanger of Palmyra; his grandparents, Rachel Schwartz of Corydon, Mary Faith of Georgia and Ron and Millie Kindeman of Sellersburg; two brothers, Mark Alcorn Jr. (Christy) of Palmyra and Steve Overton Jr. of New Salisbury; a sister, Amanda Davis (Brandon) of Henryville; his uncles and aunts, Robert and Karen Schwartz, Karen Craft, Charalee Sanchez and Jeff and Jennifer Faith; his best friend, Jordan Diebold; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Aug. 24, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
