Jane O’Bannon Parker, 92, Plainfield, died Monday, July 8, 2019, at her home.
Born Aug. 13, 1926, in Philadelphia, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Faith Dropsey O’Bannon.
She was a homemaker, an English teacher, a member of Plainfield United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa, Friday Club, bell choir at the church and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip (Ted) Parker; a son, Philip O’Bannon Parker; two sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Parker, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Tuesday, July 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Plainfield United Methodist Church.
Funeral: Tuesday, July 16, at 1 p.m. at the church with inurnment in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements: Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield.
