John F. Arnold

John Franklin Arnold, 99, died Monday, June 24, 2019.
Born March 15, 1920, in Frenchtown, he was the son of the late Ollie and Anna Iona Hannel Arnold.
He owned and operated Arnold’s Appliances for many years and was an Army veteran.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Betty Jo Jackson; two sisters, Frances M. Chinn and Ruth E. Eaton; and four brothers, Clement, Oliver Junior, George and Donald Arnold.
Survivors include four daughters, Jeri Ann Fessel of Ramsey, Kathy J. Eckart of Corydon, Patricia K. Houser of New Salisbury and Susan Watson of Depauw; a son, Anthony A. Arnold of New Salisbury; two brothers, Merrill Jerome Arnold of Indianapolis and Russell L. Arnold of Corydon; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service: Wednesday, June 26, at 1 p.m. at Hancock Chapel Cemetery near Depauw with military rites by Milltown American Legion Post 332.
