Ellis (Glenn) Waynescott

Ellis (Glenn) Waynescott, 75, Georgetown, died Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Hosparus Care Inpatient Facility in Louisville.
Born Sept. 3, 1943, in Elizabeth, he was the son of the late Hubert L. and Hazel Huffman Waynescott.
He was a school bus driver for special education for the New Albany-Floyd County Consolidated School Corp., a member of First Church of God in New Albany and a 41-year member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Survivors include his wife, the former Linda Rice; three sons, Rodney Waynescott (Heidi) of Depauw, Jeff Waynescott of New Salisbury and Doug Waynescott of Georgetown; a brother, Dallas Waynescott (Norma Sue) of Corydon; a sister, Rose Johnson (Dallas) of Corydon; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, June 4, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, June 5, after 10 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Wednesday, June 5, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Officiants: Pastors Leland Lockhart and Terry Blackford.
