Paul K. Burnett

Paul K. (Casey) Burnett, 84, New Salisbury, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019, in Las Vegas.
Born Dec. 31, 1934, at New Salisbury, he was the son of the late Curtis and Cora Montgomery Burnett.
He was an Army veteran, proprietor of Burnett’s Gulf Service in New Salisbury and a member of Calvary Baptist Church at New Salisbury and Hope Baptist Church in Las Vegas.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Betty Cook; a grandson, Christopher Bastin; and 10 siblings, Curtis, Fred, Darrell, Guilford, Donald, Edwin and Everett Burnett, Thelma Downey, Geneva Speer and Betty Hearson.
Survivors include two daughters, Reta Meoli of Las Vegas and Diane Shane (Gene) of Meridian, Idaho; a son, John of Portland, Ore.; a brother, Dale Burnett of Lafayette; a sister, Wilma Burnett of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Michael Bastin and Tami Brandon; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, April 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 6, after 1 p.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Saturday, April 6, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery near Crandall.
