Corydon’s Nalley named to Top 60 list
The Hoosier Basketball magazine’s Top 60 senior boys’ list, compiled by the magazine, was recently released. Selected from the approximately 1,500 senior players statewide, the final list were invited to participate in the Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 60 Senior Workout on March 21 at Marian University in Indianapolis.
Among the players named to the Top 60 were Corydon Central’s Bradley Nalley. The American University-signee posted averages of 19.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.8 assists per game as a senior. Nalley shot 54 percent from the field, 33 percent from beyond the arc and 74 percent from the charity stripe.
Due to having surgery after the season, Nalley wasn’t able to participate in the showcase event.
Other area basketball players selected were Cobie Barnes (Floyd Central), Braeden Beard (Tell City), Michael Boshears (Brownstown Central), Drew Buhr (Austin), Zane Gross (Silver Creek) and Derrick Stevenson (New Albany).
Coach Steve Lynch (Brownsburg) was selected to direct both sessions. Four other Indiana Basketball Coaches Association coaches ‘ Jerry Bomholt (Southwestern-Hanover), Don Carlisle (Ben Davis), Mark Detweiler (Delta) and Josh Thompson (Barr-Reeve)’ were invited to assist with on-court coaching.
The initial Top Senior Boys’ high school player list was released March 15. An additional area player included was Corydon Central’s Joey Wiseman. The Ball State University men’s golf signee averaged 20.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.3 steals per game on the hardwood.
