Juanita L. Knieriem, 80, Oriole, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, in Corydon.
Born March 28, 1938, in Oriole, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Hazel Bullington Sturgeon.
She retired from General Electric and was a member of Branchville United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Knieriem, in 2016; a daughter, Carolyn Sue Knieriem; a granddaughter, Tiffany Knieriem; and her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include four children, Dan Knieriem (Paula) of New Salisbury, Mike Knieriem (Cathy) of Milltown, Jeff Knieriem (Melody) of Depauw and Tammy Knieriem Hubbard of Kennesaw, Ga.; nine grandchildren, Josh Huff, Ashley Burns, Brad, Chrissy, Jeffery and Evan Knieriem, Nikki Redmon and Alex and Adam Hubbard; two step-grandchildren, Matthew and Clinton Herman; 10 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Feb. 11, from 3 to 8 p.m., CST, and Tuesday, Feb. 12, after 11 a.m., CST, at Huber Funeral Home in Tell City.
Funeral; Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m., CST, at the funeral home with burial in Luxemburger Cemetery near Oriole.
Officiant: Pastor Josh Harris.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Branchville United Methodist Church.
