Clarence P. Wiseman, 72, Deputy, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at University Hospital in Louisville.
Born Nov. 19, 1946, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Elmer Lee Wiseman Sr. and Opal Mae Stonecipher Wiseman.
He was retired from Keller Manufacturing Co. in Corydon, was formerly employed at Bornstein Building Co. in Louisville, was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, was active in the Boy Scouts of America, where he served as troop leader of Corydon Troop No. 22, and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Pat Wiseman, and four brothers, Maurice, Kermit, Carl and Elmer Wiseman Jr.
Survivors include a son, Jeff Wiseman (Hilary) of Madison; a brother, Johnny Wiseman (Betty) of Guntown, Miss.; a sister, Wanda Snyder (Charlie) of Corydon; and three grandchildren, Carrissa Wiseman, Mallory Toregerson (Trevor) and Timothy Wiseman.
Visitation: Friday, Jan. 25, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 26, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
