Agnes B. Richmer

Agnes B. Richmer, 89, Lanesville, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
Born Aug. 3, 1929, in Floyds Knobs, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Myrtle Hanka Receveur.
She was a homemaker and a 65-year member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest G. Richmer, three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include four sons, Dennis Richmer (Louise) of Georgetown, Larry Richmer (LuAnn) of Sellersburg, Dale Richmer (Pamela) of Madison and Alan Richmer of Lanesville; three daughters, Linda Poliskie of Jeffersonville, Carol Richmer of Georgetown and Jean Wills (Larry) of Lanesville; a brother, Cletus Receveur of Sellersburg; two sisters, Evelyn Graf of Memphis and Doris Klein of Floyds Knobs; 11 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 9, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary service at 7:30, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Mass of Christian burial: Thursday, Jan. 10, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville with burial in the church cemetery.
Celebrant: Father Louis Manna.
