Wilma F. Owen
Wilma Faye Owen, 96, Corydon, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation in Corydon.
Born Aug. 19, 1922, in Mauckport, she was the daughter of the late Paul G. and Bessie M. Frakes Engleman.
She was a homemaker and a member of Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stoy E. Owen Sr.; a son, Gary Ray Owen Sr.; two daughters, Donna Sue Owen and Deanna Faye Taylor; two brothers, Euguene (Gene) and Paul Junior Engleman; and three sisters, Anna Mae Gutknecht, Georgetta (Jettye) Pinaire and Bonnie E. Shireman.
Survivors include six sons, Orbison (Sonny) Owen of Cody, Wyo., Ronnie Owen of Floyds Knobs, Paul (Bobby) Owen of Jeffersonville, William (Billy) Owen of New Albany, Max Owen of Seattle and Stoy Owen Jr. of Corydon; five daughters, Sharon Melton of Franklin, Connie Rhodes of Princeton, Ky., Nancy Liebert of Cody, Beneta Neal of Madison and Deborah (Debbie) Carpenter of Salem; a brother, Carl Engleman of Lexington, Ky.; and 103 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Dec. 27, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and Friday, Dec. 28, after 9 a.m. at Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, Dec. 28, at 10 a.m. at the church with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Michael Elliott.
Pallbearers: Stoy Jr., Sonny, Ronnie, Bobby, Billy and Max Owen.
