Mona Lee Smith, 68, Louisville, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2018.
Born March 10, 1950, in Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Eldon and Norma Lee Nossett Rothrock.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Asbury College and her master’s degree from Indiana University Southeast, was employed as a substitute school teacher with the Jefferson County Public Schools, was formerly employed with UPS in Louisville, was a former park ranger with the Harrison-Crawford State Forest near Corydon, was a former probation officer for Harrison County and was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Smith; two sons, Aaron Lincoln Smith (Kyoko) and Jonathan David Smith (Kellie), both of Louisville; and five grandchildren, Leonidas Zen Smith, Esther Lynn Smith, Emma Jean Smith, Allie Lee Smith and Lily June Smith.
Visitation: Friday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 27, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Blue River Chapel Cemetery west of Corydon.
Pallbearers: Aaron, Jonathan and Leonidas Smith and Scott, Doug and Stuart Rothrock.
