Cora Margaret Kirkham, 89, Elizabeth, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon.
Born March 28, 1929, in Corydon, she was the daughter of the Roman Chester and Nell (Nellie) Conrad Taylor.
She retired from the billing department of Harrison REMC, was involved in serving dinners for businesses with the Harrison Grange and was a 71-year member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church near Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Lillian Blackman.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Robert F. Kirkham; two daughters, Linda Burnham (Paul) and Vicki Rhoads (Tom), both of Elizabeth; three grandchildren, Sara Ekart (Kevin) of Jeffersonville, Travis Burnham of Evansville and Matthew Burnham (Christy) of Atlanta, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, Paul and Loftin Burnham; and two sisters, Irma Davis of New Salisbury and Ruby Lynch (Ramon) of Leopold.
Visitation: Sunday, Oct. 21, from noon to 7 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
