Darrell Wayne Bussabarger, 75, Corydon, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at his home.
Born Nov. 21, 1942, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Raymond and Alice Mathes Bussabarger.
He was a retired mechanic, a member of Northwest Christian Church near Depauw and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Old Capital Aerie No. 2794 in Corydon and an Army veteran.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Darrell W. Bussabarger and Dara Nicole Bussabarger.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, the former Beverly Akers; a sister, Brenda Utz (Rick); a niece and nephew, Jessica and Dathan Utz; and a great-niece, Zoe Utz.
Visitation: Friday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 22, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Sept. 22, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Gethsemane Cemetery near Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Webster Oglesby.
Pallbearers: Mike, Darin and Owen Bussabarger, Kevin Wade, Dathan Utz and Don Akers.
Honorary pallbearers: Gary Brown and Sammy Coffman.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Gethsemane Cemetery Fund or the American Kidney Fund.
