Merle A. Behr, 75, Elizabeth, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Indian Creek Health & Rehab Center in Corydon.
Born Sept. 12, 1942, in Evansville, he was the son of Herman R. and Carrie Mc-
Kim Behr.
He was an Air Force veteran, retired from Wyandotte Woods, a member of the Tuesday Volunteer Group at O’Bannon Woods State Park and attended Smith Campground United Methodist Church near Laconia.
Survivors include his wife, the former Viola Funk; a daughter, Kelly Kuchenbrod (Thomas) of Richland; two brothers, Larry Behr (Sherry) of Elizabeth and Wayne Behr of Corydon; a sister, Judy Archibald (Leroy) of Tennessee; and a granddaughter, Aleksandrea Kuchenbrod (Michael) of Indianapolis.
Visitation: Sunday, July 1, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday, July 2, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, July 2, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with interment in Rehoboth Church Cemetery near Laconia.
The family suggests memorial gifts be to Smith Campground United Methodist Church or Rehoboth Cemetery Fund.
