Doris Williar Seacat, 84, Corydon, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at an assisted living facility in Lake Zurich, Ill.
Born Oct. 8, 1933, in Laconia, she was the daughter of the late Anderson and Florence Haas Williar.
She was a 1952 graduate of Corydon Central High School, retired from Old Capitol Bank in Corydon after a 40-plus-year career, was a long-time member of Corydon Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon and on many committees, and was a volunteer at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Verne Seacat; a daughter, Lisa Seacat; a sister, Mary Ellen White; a brother, DeVer Williar, and two sisters-in-law, Carole Ennis and Rae Walk.
Survivors include a son, Mark Seacat (Tina) of Las Cruces, N.M.; a daughter, Lori Ralston (Doug) of Long Grove, Ill.; a sister, Joan Witte of Indianapolis; and five grandchildren, Christopher Ralston, Chandler Ralston, Catherine Ralston, Allison Seacat and Nicholas Seacat.
Visitation: Monday, July 2, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Memorial service: Monday, July 2, at noon at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cory-
The family suggests memorial gifts to Corydon Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
