Thomas A. Wood

Thomas A. Wood, 73, Greenville, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
Born July 24, 1944, in Huntingburg, he was the son of the late Thomas Junior and Christeen Beanblossom Wood.
He was a machinist for Henry Vogt Machine and a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church in Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, the former Alma Capito; a son, Thomas Anthony Wood of Georgetown; a daughter, Rebecca Jo Vincent of Greenville; a brother, Timmie Wood of Louisville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, May 18, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday after 11 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, May 19, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
