Gregory Owen Stroud, 51, Marengo, died Thursday, April 5, 2018, at his home.
Born March 1, 1967, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Owen and Betty Stroud.
He was a member of Marengo United Methodist Church.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Sue Broughton Stroud, and a nephew, Terry Lynn Stroud.
Survivors include four brothers, Terry Stroud (Alice) of Milltown, Mickey Stroud (Cindy) of Marengo and Lynn Stroud (Eve Ann) and Steve Stroud (Candi), both of New Albany; two sisters, Donna Ferguson (J Myron) of Jeffersonville and Jana Campbell of New Albany; his primary caregiver, who was like a sister to him, Lorena (Teen Teen) Robinson (Joey) of Marengo; 17 nieces and nephews, Michelle Oppel of Depauw, Jeremy Stroud (Candie) of Milltown, Neil Stroud (Bobbi) of Georgetown, Shana Totten (Joe) and Kaci Hentrup (PJ), both of Lanesville, Teia Young (Neal) of Floyds Knobs, Cody Stroud (Lisa) of Paragon, Miles Ford, Landon Ford, Kyle Ferguson (Erin), Jasmin Owens (Randy) and Jared Bowman, all of New Albany, Matt Ferguson (Corinne) of Charlestown, Erin Ferguson of Jeffersonville, Joey Ferguson of Indianapolis, Christopher Stroud of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Jonathan Ruppe of Huntingburg; and 18 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation: Sunday, April 8, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown and Monday, April 9, after 10 a.m. at Marengo United Methodist Church.
Celebration of Life: Monday, April 9, at 1 p.m. at the church with interment in the Marengo Cemetery.
