Donald Dietrich, 84, Greenville, died Friday, March 30, 2018, at Rolling Hills Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 1, 1934, in Palmyra, he was the son of the late Edgar Raymond Dietrich and Odessa Olga Radcliffe Patterson.
He attended Pekin High School, was an Army veteran and retired from General Electric after 35 years of service.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Dietrich.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, the former Mary Lu McGuirk; two sons, Steven Dietrich of Georgetown and Scott Dietrich of Greenville; a daughter, Sheri Bower of Sellersburg; a sister, Helen Jarboe; two grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Visitation: Sunday, April 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Monday, April 2, after 9 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Monday, April 2, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Bradford.
