Leslie Reed
Leslie Reed, 57, Laconia, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, in Louisville.
Born Feb. 9, 1961, in Corydon, he was the son of Emmett and Phyllis Gleitz Reed.
He was a 1979 graduate of Corydon Central High School, where he played basketball and football, was a farmer, received certification as a diesel mechanic, worked at Legacy of Jeffersonville for the past 15 years, was involved in FFA and 4-H, competing at the Indiana State Fair and was a life-long member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Altha Gleitz and Jesse and Zelma Reed, and an uncle, Verne Gleitz.
Survivors in addition to his parents are three sisters, Krista Crawhorn (Buck) and Vicki Reed, both of Corydon, and Shelly Brown (David) of Mount Vernon, Ill.; two nephews, James Brown and Daniel Crawhorn (Jennifer); a niece, Danessa Crawhorn; and a great-niece and a great-nephew, Addison Bedar and Tucker Brown.
Visitation: Friday, March 16, from noon to 8 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, March 17, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville with burial in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery.
