David L. Stonecipher Sr.
David L. Stonecipher Sr., 72, Depauw, died Sunday, March 4, 2018.
Born Oct. 7, 1945, at Depauw, he was the son of Madaline Mills Stonecipher and the late Clive L. Stonecipher.
He was a retired equipment operator for the Harrison County Highway Dept.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Anita Kennedy.
Survivors in addition to his mother include four sons, Robert Davis Jr. of New Salisbury, Timothy Davis (Ruth) of Laconia, Walter Davis (Melissa) of Corydon and David L. Stonecipher Jr. of Sulphur; a daughter, Amanda Stonecipher of Louisville; three sisters, Rita Ridner, Linda Young (Ronnie) and Brenda Wetzel (Lonnie); and 10 grandchildren, David E.L. Stonecipher, Tealsa A. Stonecipher, Walter L. Davis Jr., Chelsea D. Davis, Autumn L. Davis, Robert Davis III, Ashley Davis, Lea Davis, Elsie DeSpain and Ethan DeSpain.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 7, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, March 8, after 9 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Thursday, March 8, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Milltown Cemetery.
