Doris B. Hubert

Doris Bea Hubert, 82, Lanesville, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at Baptist Health Louisville.
Born March 22, 1935, in Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Bradford and Gertrude Lynch Small.
She was owner and operator, along with her husband, of the Circle Bar in Lanesville and was a foster parent.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Hubert; a daughter, Tammy Megenity; a son-in-law, Keith Hagan; and a sister, Virginia VanWinkle.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Hubert (Denise) of Elizabeth and Randy Hubert of Lanesville; three daughters, Holly Hagan and Judy Lytle (Larry), both of Lanesville and Janet Sandifer (Scott) of New Albany; a brother, Johnny Small (Hope) of Leavenworth; four sisters, Evelyn Mayfield (George) and Louise Schulz, both of Lanesville, Gloria Mauck of Corydon and Charlene Hockersmith of Depauw; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 17, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 18, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in the Lanesville Protestant Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Richard Goodwin.
Pallbearers: Her children and Johnny Small.
The family suggests memorial gifts to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
