Sue Thompson

Sue Washer Thompson, 57, Georgetown, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
Born April 25, 1960, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Dorothy Bandy Washer.
She was a qualified medical assistant and was a salesperson at Feeders Supply in New Albany.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Washer and Ralph Bandy.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Thompson; two sons, Michael and Travis Ruby, both of New Albany; two stepsons, Derrick Thompson of Lanesville and Jake Thompson of Palmyra; a daughter, Danielle Ruby of Georgetown; a stepdaughter, Patty Woods of Salem; three brothers, Mitchell Washer of New Salisbury, Spencer Washer of Bowling Green, Ky., and Grover Washer of Morgantown, Ky.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Jan. 11, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown and Friday, Jan. 12, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown, Ky.
Graveside service: Saturday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m. at the Orange Cemetery in Morgantown, Ky.
