Ronald L. Zink
Ronald Leroy Zink, 70, Palmyra, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
Born April 24, 1947, in Salem, he was the son of the late Bernard and Dorotha Setser Zink.
He graduated from Morgan Township, was an Army veteran during the Vietnam War, retired from Wayne Supply after 37 years as a diesel mechanic, attended Northside Christian Church for the past 20 years and was an Indiana Free Mason at Clark Lodge No. 40 and Valley Indianapolis 32 degree Mason.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Jean Zink, and a brother, Billy J. Zink.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, the former Sue Ann Mayfield; a son, Ronald L. Zink Jr. (Jennifer) of Corydon; a daughter, Kathleen (Kathy) Davis (Michael) of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Seth Frederick, Madeline Zink and Oliver Zink; a brother, Kevin Zink (Kim) and a sister-in-law, Norma Zink.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 11, after 9 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 11, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Tunnel Hill Cemetery near Georgetown.
