Bonnie E. Shireman

Bonnie E. Shireman, 91, Mauckport, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at Baptist Health Louisville.
Born Sept. 28, 1926, in Fithian, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Paul George and Bessie Melinda Frakes Engleman.
She was a retired medical records clerk/transcriber at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon and a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church near Mauckport.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 67 years, Gerald F. Shireman; an infant daughter, Bonnie Paulette Shireman; a brother, Eugene Engleman; and two sisters, Anna Mae Gutknecht and Georgetta (Jettye) Pinaire.
Survivors include a son, Gerald Wayne Shireman (Donna) of Taylorsville, Ky.; two brothers, Carl E. Engleman of Lexington, Ky., and Paul J. Engleman of Corydon; a sister, Wilma F. Owen of Corydon; four grandchildren, David Shireman (April), Jennifer Fischer (Eric), Brittany Boykin and Natalie Flynn (Eric); seven great-grandchildren, Chad and Mason Shireman, Austin and Jackson Gum, Jaden Boykin and Mason and Madi Fischer; and her sister-in-law, Louise Shireman of Mauckport.
Visitation: Saturday, Nov. 25, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 26, after 11 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home in Corydon with burial in Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Mauckport.
Officiant: Pastor Marcia Dodge.
Pallbearers: David, Chad and Mason Shireman, Eric Fischer and Austin and Jackson Gum.
