James A. Zimmerman

James A. Zimmerman, 77, New Salisbury, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
Born June 4, 1940, in Chicago, he was the son of the late Carl and Greta Zimmerman.
He was retired from Schmidt Cabinet Co. in New Salisbury.
Survivors include a son, Gene Zimmerman (Janet) of Mooresville; a daughter, Gail Nowling (Steve) of New Salisbury; three grandchildren Stephen Atwood and Josh and Jake Zimmerman; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Thursday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Horner’s Chapel Cemetery at Fredericksburg.
