Betty L. Robson

Betty Lou Fleshman Robson, 86, Corydon and Englewood, Fla., died Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, from complications of COPD.
Born Sept. 13, 1931, in Mauckport, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Ruth Fleshman.
She earned a B.S. in education from the University of Louisville and a M.S. in education from Indiana University and taught third grade in the New Albany-Floyd County School Corp. for 33 years.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles (Doug) Robson; a sister, Arlene Bland; and her in-laws, Tom and Georgia Robson.
Survivors include two children, Cindy Marcus (Joe) of Lilburn, Ga., and Douglas Robson (Kathy) of Corydon, and two grandchildren, Zachary Robson of Stuart, Fla., and Kathryn Robson of Indianapolis.
Visitation: Saturday, Oct. 14, from 3 to 4 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, Oct. 14, at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with attendees invited to join the family afterward for a reception at the Old Capital Golf Club in Corydon.
