Franklin D. Schuley

Franklin Delano Roosevelt (Pete) Schuley, 77, Depauw, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.
Born Nov. 22, 1939, in Sulphur, he was the son of the late Andrew and Minnie Starkey Schuley.
He attended the House of Prayer.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Dorothy U. Barrett; a son, Douglas Schuley; a daughter, Bonnie Heilig; a granddaughter, Julie Schuley, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son, Michael J. Schuley of New Salisbury; two daughters, Karen Schuley Madley of Marengo and Zandra L. Schuley of Owensville; a brother, Charles Schuley of Bedford; four sisters, Wanda Eastridge, Betty Colin, Evelyn Schuley and Regina Burns; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Sept. 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 30, after 8 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown.
Funeral: Saturday, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with interment in Old Union Cemetery near Sulphur.
Officiant: Brother Charles Collins.
