Earl R. Parkhill

Earl Ray Parkhill, 68, Leavenworth, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, in New Albany.
Born June 16, 1949, in Leavenworth, he was the son of the late Estell and Lena Mae Williams Parkhill.
He retired as a recreation coordinator for the Indiana Dept. of Corrections.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Sherry; two children, Laurel Mitchell (Mike) and Jason Parkhill (Amanda); three grandchildren, Tyler Mitchell, Lucas Parkhill and Nicholas Parkhill; and a brother, Larry Parkhill.
Visitation: Saturday, Sept. 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dillman Green Funeral Home in Marengo.
Funeral: Saturday, Sept. 23, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Tower Cemetery in Leavenworth.
Officiant: Pastor Steven Parkhill.
