Marjorie L. Board
Marjorie Louise Board, 99, Laconia, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, at Rolling Hills in New Albany.
Born Dec. 18, 1917, in Griffin, she was the daughter of the late Emmet and Cora Fisher Tucker.
She was a homemaker, a member of Pfrimmer’s Chapel United Methodist Church near Corydon and served meals at the Joe Rhoads Senior Center in Corydon for many years.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Board; a grandson, Steve Gregory; and four sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Gregory (William) of Laconia; two grandchildren, Sherry Fezi and Vicki Edwards; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Fezi, Kyle Fezi and Kalley Gregory; and two great-great-grandchildren, Dean Lee and Leighton Fezi.
Visitation: Sunday, Aug. 20, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 21, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Ivy Hill Cemetery in Hardinsburg, Ky.
Officiant: Pastor Tim Johnson.
