Rick E. Coakley, 61, Corydon, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born July 5, 1956, in New Albany, he was the son of Juanita Love Hubert of Floyds Knobs and the late LeRoy Coakley.
He was the owner of former Coakley Service Station in Corydon.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife, Merry Ann Coakley; a son, Donnie Coakley of Floyds Knobs; three daughters, Heather Coakley of Elizabeth and Maddie and Makenzie Coakley, both of Corydon; four brothers, Jimmy Coakley (Tish) of Corydon, Billy Coakley (Stephanie) and Terry Hubert (Lora), both of Georgetown, and Larry Coakley of New Albany; two sisters, Vicki Brim of Georgetown and Kathy Whitten (Jerry) of Lanesville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Sunday, Aug. 13, from noon to 8 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 14, after 0 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Leland Lockhart.
