Sarah Pease, a former South Central Junior-Senior High School standout, competed at the United States of America Track and Field Outdoor Championships last week in Sacramento, Calif.
Taking part in the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase, Pease turned in a seventh-place finish, running a time of 9:47.41 during Saturday’s final.
In the preliminary a few days prior, Pease qualified for the final with a fifth-place finish in her heat, going around Sacramento State’s Hornet Stadium track and steeplechase barriers in 9:48.65.
