Mary Ann Frakes Schenck, 55, Corydon, died Monday, June 19, 2017, at her home.
Born Feb. 24, 1962, in Corydon, she was the daughter of Cora Jane Conrad Frakes of Corydon and the late Ralph Frakes.
She was a director of purchasing at Squire Boone Caverns in New Albany, a member and past chairperson of the Pink-A-Palooza Breast Cancer Event and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon and Phi Beta Psi Sorority.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by an aunt, Mary Ethel (Auntie) Frakes.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Bernie E. Schenck Jr.; a daughter, Amanda Uhl (Andrew) of Corydon; two grandsons, Lincoln Robert and William Russel Uhl; and a sister, Becky Welsh (Jerry) of Memphis.
Visitation: Friday, June 23, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 24, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, June 24, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon with burial in Union Chapel Cemetery near Laconia.
Officiant: Father Robert Hankee.
Pallbearers: Jay David Thornton, Sam Hawkins, Kevin Rogers, Kelsey Rogers, Charles (Chip) Meek, Adam Uhl and Brian Uhl.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Pink-A-Palooza Breast Cancer Event in care of the American Cancer Society.
