Connie Baker Newton, 64, Palmyra, died Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
She was born April 21, 1953, in Fort Knox, Ky.
Preceding her in death was her father, Vernon Baker; stepfather, Donald Sill Sr.; and great-grandson, Billy Sherman.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Denny Newton; three children, Brian Newton (Doris), Shawn Newton (Susant) and John Newton (Krystal); mother, Barbara Hattabaugh Sill; seven siblings, Kathy Kyrillidis (Archemedes), Roy Bluebaugh, Karen Bruce (Stewart), Donnie Sill (Crystal), Sheri Alcocer (William), Sandra Hobbs (Paul) and Lucinda Gray (Donnie); sister-in-law, Rosalie Bluebaugh; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Elijah, Mia, Brody, Alex, Samuel and Victoria; and 12 nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Dakota, Jason, Amanda, Christopher, Haley, Morgan, Gabriel, Kadin, Paige, Adaline and Avery.
Memorial gathering: Saturday, June 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in New Albany.
Memorial service: Saturday, June 24, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen with private burial at a later date in Palmyra Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her family in care of the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
