Mary Hart Reich, 101, Corydon, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation Center ‘ Harrison in Corydon.
Born Nov. 25, 1915, in Elizabeth, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Purva Johnson Hart.
She worked for many years at the Indiana Dept. of Soil Conservation and was active at Corydon United Methodist Church, teaching Sunday school and serving in many capacities.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Army Air Force veteran Roland Reich, who was stationed in Ankara, Turkey, North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania and New York before retiring to Corydon, and a son, Robert V. Reich.
Survivors include a son, Stephen H. Reich; three grandchildren, Clayton J. Reich, Daniel R. Reich and Monica Mills; and three great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Emily Mills and London Davis.
Memorial service: Wednesday, June 14, at 11 a.m. at Corydon United Methodist Church with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
