Robert L. Rochner

Robert Lee (Bob) Rochner, 83, Corydon, died Monday, May 29, 2017.
Born May 22, 1934, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Leo and Alice Brown Rochner.
He volunteered with his wife at the Soup Kitchen in New Albany.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Harbeson.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, the former Nancy Tripure; three sons, Jeff Rochner (Terri), Mark Rochner (Debbie) and Tom Rochner (Susan); two sisters, Joyce Mehling and Helen Byrnes; six grandchildren, Jordan (Sarah), Matthew (Heather), Christopher (Maegen), Joseph, Zachary (Julianna) and Jacob; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Remi.
Visitation: Thursday, June 1, from 1 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in New Albany.
Funeral Mass: Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lanesville with burial in the church cemetery.
