Junior C. Evaline

Junior Clyde Evaline, 80, Salem, died Wednesday morning, May 24, 2017, at his home.
Born Feb. 16, 1937, in Anchor, Ill., he was the son of the late William Clyde and Clara Luella Hanks Evaline.
He graduated from New Salisbury High School, worked at GKN Sinter Metals in Salem, retired from Rhone-Poulenc chemical company in Louisville and was a member of Westside Church of Christ in Salem.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Evaline, and two sisters, Norma Wilhoite and Phyllis Jones.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, the former Bonnie J. Adkins; two daughters, Melissa Evaline of Palmyra and Zettie Cooley of Great Lakes, Ill.; a brother, Raymond Evaline; five sisters, Alma Crane, Alice Hensley, Linda Waldridge, Wilma Lewis and Janet Wise; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Visitation: Thursday, May 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday, May 26, after 10 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Friday, May 26, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with interment in Kansas Cemetery.
