James H. Baker
James H. Baker, 81, New Salisbury, died Saturday, May 20, 2017.
Born April 9, 1936, at Cinda, Ky., he was the son of the late Malcom Sr. and Mary Young Baker.
He was retired from Tyson Foods in Corydon and J.D. Windall Line Co. and a member of New Salisbury Church of Christ.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Rae Baker, and two brothers, Jerry and Billy Ray Baker.
Survivors include his wife, the former Earletta Edwards; a son, Ronald D. Baker (Pamela) of Georgetown; three daughters, Teresa Grant (Wayne) of English, Jeana Grant (Aaron) of New Salisbury and Deborah Davis (Richard) of Depauw; four brothers, Malcom Baker Jr. (Bobbie) of Cumberland, Ky., Eugene Baker (Melody) of Hyden, Ky., Donald Baker (Joan) of Hamilton, Ohio, and Russell D. Baker (Mary) Wooten, Ky.; two sisters, Ella Smith of Hazard, Ky., and Betty Hoskins (Henry) of Wooten; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 23, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 24, after 9 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Wednesday, May 24, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Central Barren Cemetery.
