Kathleen S. Batman

Kathleen S. (Katie) Batman, 98, New Albany, died Tuesday April 11, 2017, at Westminster Healthcare Center in Clarksville.
Born in Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Emery and Jacie Eckert.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star New Albany Chapter No. 340, the Judea White Shrine Chapter No. 20 and First Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis E. Batman; a sister, Dorothy Anderson, and her husband, Claude; and a brother, Howard Eckert, and his wife, Winona.
Survivors include two sons, Paul E. Batman (Barbara Davieds) and Keith M. Batman (Barbara Post); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation: Friday May 12, from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville in New Albany.
Funeral: Friday May 12, at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in SCI-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
The family suggests memorial gifts to First Baptist Church.
