Paul David Mitchell, 50, Corydon, died Saturday, April 29, 2017.
Born Dec. 11, 1966, in Floyd County, he was the son of Dora Plaiss Mitchell of New Albany and the late Paul Mitchell.
He was a graduate of Borden High School, spent 16 years as a motor coach operator at American Coach Travel as well as 12 years driving the high school athletics bus for the New Albany Bulldog, and was the automotive technology instructor for 23 years at Prosser Career Education Center in New Albany.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife of 25 years, Mary L. Mitchell; a son, Michael Mitchell of Corydon; a daughter, Kimberly Mitchell of Corydon; and a sister, Julie Wilkerson of Blue Mound, Kan.
Memorial visitation: Tuesday, May 2, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at Prosser Career Education Center in New Albany for all past and present students.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, May 4, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Thursday, May 4, at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Rogers Campground Cemetery in Elizabeth.
