Ray A. Glenn
Ray A. Glenn, 87, Las Vegas, formerly of Corydon, died Monday, April 10, 2017, at his home.
The son of the late Gilson A. Glenn and Edith Glenn, he was a graduate of Corydon High School, where he played basketball, and retired from the Air Force after 20 years as a senior master sergeant then spent several years with the CIA in Bangkok, Thailand and Egypt before retiring. While in Bangkok, he had a few race horses and won the Queen’s Trophy twice.
Survivors include his wife, Lek; a son, Patrick of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Carol Ann Schultz of Green River, Wyo., and Sharon Rose Glenn of Silverton, Idaho; a granddaughter, Tanner Darnell of Fort Walton Beach, Fla; two grandsons of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and an uncle, Jacque L. Glenn of Bradford.
His ashes will be buried Wednesday, July 19, at 1 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Members of the the VFW will perform the ceremony.
