Dorothy L. McAdams, 94, New Albany, died Friday, April 7, 2017, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
A native of Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Ora and Lola Wiseman.
She was retired from the old H.A. Seinsheimer clothing manufacturer and was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hobart Beach Post of the VFW Post No. 1693.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James McAdams, and many brothers and a sister.
Survivors include three sons, Marshall R., James L. and Larry W. McAdams; a daughter, Joyce Y. McAdams; brother, Raymond Wiseman; four grandchildren, Kevin McAdams, Tara Powers, Kustan Ervin and Anthony McAdams; and seven great-grandchildren, Alex and Abigail Powers, Caroline, Ryan and Reid McAdams and David and Daniel Peper-McAdams.
Visitation: Sunday, April 9, from noon to 8 p.m. and Monday, April 10, after 11 a.m. at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany.
Funeral: Monday, April 10, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with interment in Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
